Let's Get This Party Started!

Congratulations to Cornell for being the first team into this years NCAA tournament.  And, I also want to say, have fun now while it lasts because you will also be the first team out of this years tournament.  

So, I wrote those first two sentences that you see above and have literally been staring at them for 20 minutes.  I have seriously nothing to write about.  And it's for that reason, that I will tell you how I come up with these AMAZING blogs!

During the week I have a piece of paper.  On this piece of paper goes random thoughts that I think of during the day.  The thoughts are anything ranging from sports related things, to songs I hear, and then to stupid things people say.  I don't write down the things that I'm going to say about them, nor do I even think about what I'm going to say.  When it comes time to write the blog, I look at the piece of paper and just pick out the topics that I could have the most fun writing about, or at least the most to write about.  And then, well I write.

That is basically what happens, and my "top's" at the end of each blog just comes to me, never thought about, but always does well.

While writing this, I actually just thought of something.  I don't if I am more amazed at my ability to be awake at 4 a.m. on a weekday and go for a walk, or to turn on the tv just to see one of Nic Canon's many terrible movies (Underclassmen) on TNT?

My intention tonight was actually not to write a new post, but it was to go to bed by midnight.  I obviously did not meet that goal by any means.  Not only is it past midnight, it is now 3 a.m. because it is daylight savings.  

I was at a dollar store this evening and come across some St. Patrick's Day things.  I just couldn't resist leaving the store without some kind of object that was green and clearly was something that would only be acceptable to wear on St. Patrick's Day.  I bought a necklace with an attached shot glass and a whistle!!  I am really excited to use it on that wonderful day.

I came across a t-shirt this week that said, " Number 5 party school?"  and then underneath it said, "WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!"  So, with this is mind, I leave you with the top 5 party schools in the nation.

This Blog is "Legit" ??

I would like to start off with an apology!  I apologize to my 1 "follower" of my blog for not updating it for about 2 1/2 weeks.  Truly, I am sorry.

Streak for the Cash on ESPN.com is officially one of the hardest things ever!  It is nearly impossible to correctly guess 25 games in a row or whatever it is.  I tried, and it is just not easy!!  I would love to win a million bucks, but it is almost impossible to win this way!

Whatever happened to words like "cool" or "sweet" or "awesome".  Deep down inside, whenever someone says "That's legit" or "It's legit" I just can't stop laughing.  I don't get it, people really are saying, "That's legitimate."  I mean, "that's cool" does just fine!  "That's legit" to me, just means it's ok.  To everyone else, it means it coolest, sweetest thing ever!  Not so much America!!

I heard something last week that just made laugh really hard.  I was in psychology class and this girl that sits in front of us, meant to just ask her friend but asked loudly so a lot of people could hear, "What's the IRS?"  Wow, a college girl who doesn't know what the IRS is?  What is there to do but just point and laugh.  Poor girl, showed everyone how not smart she is.

NEW MUSIC!!!

Eminem is coming out with a new cd!  And I can't wait!!  I heard one of his new singles called Crack a Bottle and it's amazing, just like every other song of his!  I don't know if you have ever heard of Trey Songz, but he is a pretty "legit" (you like that america) rapper.  My only beef is, he just takes other peoples songs and then puts out a remix.  I'm also loving everything that Akon is putting out!

I don't know about you, but in my heart, T.I will be deeply missed during his year and 1 day in jail. 

I have recently been unable to go bed at night (well not recently, but this time it's for a different reason).  I enjoy watching the food network and watching what the chefs make.  At night, they have some really good shows.  Iron Chef America, Chopped, and Throwdown w/ Bobby Flay, just to name a few.  When I start watching these shows, I can't just stop watching because I get very into what they could possibly be making.  I also enjoy seeing how far off my guesses, of what they are making, actually are!
