Now That's "G"

Congrats to Gatorade.  I personally have been a fan of gatorade for quite some time now.  I love their new look.  At first though, I wasn't really sure what was happening when I saw all the famous athletes rambling on about something that no one really cares about because they are just trying to figure out why they are saying what they are saying.  Then to top it off someone says "Now that's G", followed by a Jabbawockee that is dancing really crazy and slowly pointing to his left.  Then a large "G" appears on the screen.  OK, I liked the commercials and I'm sure everyone else did too just for the simple fact that Americans have this weird thing about falling in love with athletes. But, I must say, the first couple times I saw the commercials I was a little perturbed because my friends and I had no idea what the "G" actually meant.  It is so typical for Gatorade to let the people know what "G" means on Super Bowl Sunday.  Come on, admit it, when you saw that super bowl commercial you had a big sigh of relief due to the fact that they actually said Gatorade in the commercial and you finally knew what "G" stood for.  While I'm talking about the Super Bowl, I just want to say sorry to Jamie that his Arizona Cardinals lost.  I know here, we were all rooting for them too!  Back on the topic of "G", I am actually enjoying seeing those new commercials with Kevin Garnett, Derek Jeter, and the Jabbawockee's.  It brings back memories from Monty Python.  Instead of being on a quest for the "Holy Grail" the athletes are on a quest for "G".  Not to mention, they all show that they have some moves!!  I am actually more impressed that Gatorade took a fairly popular term and made it their own.  G= Gangster?  Not anymore, for now on, G= Gatorade.  Which means you can't say someone is a 'G' because now "G" means Gatorade, and well, that just wouldn't make sense.

Anybody happen to see Joaquin Phoenix on Letterman?  What a joke.  I think someone needs to lay off the drugs or alcohol!  He said he is going to quit being an actor and turn into a rapper?  The best though, is that when Letterman asked him who the other actress in his new movie was, he replied "who?"  At the end of the interview Letterman said "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight."

I told you I would give you a shout out so here it is.  My boy Clay said that Rold Gold pretzels are the best pretzels and I would have to agree with him.

Lil Wayne is coming out with a new album called Rebirth.  It's going to be an all-rock album.  Knowing Lil Wayne, he'll pull it off but it's going to take some getting used to.  His new single is on Youtube and it's called Prom Queen.  If i knew how to put links on here then I would gladly do that so you can listen to it.

I leave you with my top 5 Candy's of the week!

2) Skittles (regular or sour)
